Tech Trek Auburn AAUW will send 7 girls to Tech Trek this year at U.C. Davis.  Tech Trek provides a science and math oriented experience for 7th grade girls to promote interest in these fields. Our continuing fundraising efforts are to send this many or, perhaps, more next year.  We are especially thankful to corporate donors.	Auburn AAUW provides scholarships to local women students who expect to pursue college majors in mathematics, science, or business and who have demonstrated outstanding academic and community involvement. The scholarship program gives separate consideration to graduates from any of the 5 high schools in the Placer Union High School District and to women who have re-entered Sierra College and have demonstrated the desire and ability to complete their degrees.  Girls interested in applying should contact their school counselors.
